Day 6 (post trial) , APT 8

[mitsubou]

[He looks solemn when he walks into the apartment after the trial, but almost immediately perks up (or tries to) at the sight of Guy. Mitsutada smiles warmly, offering a greeting before taking his spot on the floor with a sigh.]

As always, it's tough to sit through those. [Please bear with him. He's just trying to make small talk so that the atmosphere isn't so grim.] How have you been, Guy-kun? Surely everything must be taking a toll on you too.

[He sighs again--or more like huffs--and crosses his arms over his chest. It's a bit frustrating that there's been so many unnecessary death around them since day one, and it doesn't look like they can do anything about it.]

Hmm? Oh, yeah. I'm a little disappointed in what happened there, especially when I put so much faith in him. [At least he didn't end up being staff...? So he was only half right, half wrong.]

It was really uncool, but I'm trying to relax since it's been so hard. I wonder for how many more days will we have to endure this routine?

[mansplains]

[Someone who opens their heart that much is bound to have it broken continuously.... Guy's seen it with Ion]

Well, you were right about him not being staff. I thought the same thing. [but it's not really a satisfying ending. He still killed Franziska]

I don't know. I want to say, not for much longer... but I don't see an end in sight. We haven't even gotten closer to finding out what's really going on.

[mitsubou]

Yeah, but... it's still pretty upsetting. [He tries his best to smile through it, since it's not good to lose your cool and all.]

What's done is done, though. I suppose. [After a short pause, Mitsutada pats the ground beside him to offer Guy a seat.] I'm still uneasy about what happened, especially when one of our roommates was offered up for suspicion.

Hitsugi-chan... do you think she really could be...?

[mansplains]

[Guy takes the seat, giving Mitsutada a brief pat on the shoulder]

There's not much we can do about it now. Just be careful of you do trust.

...I don't know. I've been wrong before, but I don't think so. Do you suspect her?
